He has been involved in various research works relating to structural analysis, design and applications of appropriate technologies as well as in preparations of competence-based curriculums for technical institutes in Tanzania. His research interests include structural analysis, design specifically innovations, development and improvement of structural analysis and design techniques. He is currently researching on Application of Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics Method with Modified Kernels and Smoothing Length for Numerical Modelling of Structures under Dynamic Actions as his PhD.
